Badminton Victoria Membership
"The purpose of the Society is to promote, foster and encourage the play of badminton."

Badminton Victoria is a non-profit society serving the community as the umbrella organization whose purpose is to promote, foster and encourage the play of badminton in the Lower Vancouver Island and Gulf Island region.

Benefits of joining Badminton Victoria

  • Access to all programs and events directly offered by the PacificSport Regional Badminton Centre
  • Discounts at Centre Court Racquets and Courtside Sports stores and on official products of Badminton Victoria

  • Email updates about what is happening in the local badminton community

Your membership fee supports the PacificSport Regional Badminton Centre coaching programs; coaching development and education; BC Winter Games Zone 6 Team; youth summer badminton camps; hosting of junior and open tournaments; ongoing website development; and maintaining the "Where to Play Guide" advertising clubs in the Lower Vancouver Island.
The cost of an individual membership in the Society is $2.00 per year and may take one of the following forms:

Full Member – includes those persons who join the Society to play badminton as competitors, officials or coaches;
Associate Member - shall be those persons who join the Society to play badminton recreationally;
Affiliate Member - shall be those persons who join the Society to support its purposes and activities;
Group Member - may include organizations, schools, societies, families, and corporations who join the Society at group rates to support its purposes and activities and to receive information, resources and assistance from the Society. 

Voting members of the Society include individual members who are eighteen (18) years of age or older.  Non-voting members include individual members who are under eighteen (18) years of age and Group Members.  All voting members have full and equal voting privileges.  A voting member is entitled to one vote, and is entitled to attend, speak, make motions and vote at general meetings of the Society.
